Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!
Welcome to my classroom!
I hope that students and parents will use this site to stay up-to-date with the lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments going on in my classroom. I will post weekly lesson plans online so that my students and their parents can keep up with us from home. I will also post links to helpful websites which I recommend for student use.

Our Workbook.
Our workbook is extremely important in the day-to-day operations of our class. We use it every single day in class. The workbook has space for students to write daily journals, take notes, track their own progress, record grades, and set goals. It also contains textbook readings, primary sources, short stories, political cartoons, historical photos, and homework terms. We also keep track of hall passes in our workbook. Please keep track of your workbook and keep it in good shape. We use it every day. |
My grading policy and the WCS district grading scale.
75% of your grade is based on assessments (Test, quizzes, projects, essays, etc).
25% of your grade is based on classwork/homework ( work done in class or finished at home).
Please turn work in on time. You will be given plenty of time to get it done.
Classwork/homework assignments will be deducted by 10% for every day they are late. After four days, they will not be accepted.
